Pacific Crest Trail: July 2010 Hiker Sample V: Lunch Meadow to Stubblefield Ford

Pacific Crest Trail hikers July 26, 2010, #5:  Heading up to Lunch Meadow via Summit Creek through Brown Bear Pass.

Amazing valley leading South to Brown Bear Pass from Relief Reservoir. Granite on the South West side, and volcanic on the NE side. Once across Brown Bear Pass we quickly cross The Emigrant Basin, passing through Bond Pass to enter Yosemite and rejoin the Pacific Crest Trail in Jack Main Canyon.

 Depart Pacific Crest Trail in Jack Main Canyon, circling by Tilden Lake, then rejoining the PCT on the NW flank of Macomb Ridge to hike over to Stubblefield Canyon.
