Kennedy Meadows Pack Station and Resort is represented both as the Best Backpacker Resupply spot on the whole trail between Lake Tahoe and Mount Whitney, and as a crossroads of various elements of trail culture.

Horsemen, Hunters, Hikers, Backpackers, Scientists, and Trail Crew were all in the vicinity of Kennedy Meadows Pack Station and Resort in July of 2010.
